Dr. Chris Pasquini
Chris Pasquini was born in Eureka, California, in the heart of the Redwoods, loving drawing and stumbling on the written word due to being dyslexic. On graduating from high school, Chris left town to be an architect in 1967. Reconnecting with his high school sweetheart, Suzy, after four years changed his goal to becoming a veterinarian as this was her goal. Chris was accepted into Washington State University. While studying anatomy by copying other peoples' drawings, his anatomy professor suggested that they make an Anatomy Atlas. Chris started the Atlas of Equine Anatomy the next day, which was finished his junior year. He had now found a new love - making and illustrating books.

On finishing veterinary school in 1980, he took a year and a half off to travel in Europe and work on the Atlas of Bovine Anatomy. He then worked for a mixed veterinary practice in Mollala, Oregon, for a couple of years while finishing the bovine book. In 1984, he took off for Mexico to start a Canine Anatomy book. He then moved to CSU in Ft. Collins, Colorado, to enter a Master's program in anatomy with an emphysis on medical illustration - perfect. While at CSU, Chris was put in charge of the undergraduate veterinary anatomy class, while at the same time developing the "Anatomy of Domestic Animals". It received The Award of Excellence by the Medical illustrators of America. Dr. Pasquini had now found a new passion - teaching. When a professor was needed to take over a class he was asked to fill in, teaching veterinary anatomy. Hooked on teaching, he then went to Ross University on St. Kitts Island to teach Anatomy to the veterinary students. While in St. Kitts, he received 7 teaching awards and became the Associate Dean of Students

Since then, Dr. Pasquini has taught anatomy at Oregon State University, where, after less than two years, he received the prestigious Norden Award for Distinguished Teaching. Recently, Dr. Pasquini went to Granada where he taught Veterinary Anatomy at the new veterinary school at St. George's University.

Todd Williams
Born in a small ranching community in southern Alberta Mr. Williams grew up with horses. Horses were used on the family farm but mostly as recreation, riding and packing in Waterton and Glacier Park. Todd graduated in 1986, from the University of Lethbridge with a degree in Psychology. He has spent the past 11 years practicing equine dentistry. Besides his academic and equine related background he has had the benefit of having a father and a brother who are human dentists. His father, Dr. S.B Williams, now 91 years of age practiced in an era when methods were different and more labor intensive than current dental practice. Many of the techniques now considered appropriate in horse dentistry have their background in this older style of dentistry.

Todd has lectured to audiences of horse owners, Veterinarians and other equine dentists across North America, in the United Kingdom and Europe. He is currently an Executive Director for the World Wide Association of Equine Dentistry. Todd operates two consulting companies and provides services to horse owners and Veterinarians in Canada and the Pacific North West in the United States.

In addition to providing consultation services, Mr. Williams also has designed several instruments and helped to develop new techniques in the field of equine dentistry. Todd provides internships to qualified individuals to help advance their training and skill level and continues to help direct the affairs of the World Wide Association of Equine Dentistry.
